1 x 330 Power Plant by Thal Nova – COD expected by January, 2023
- June 10, 2018 first coal seam exploited by SECMC at a depth of 140 meters below the surface
- SECMC declared Phase-I COD on 10th July, 2019
- Over 14 million Tons of Coal extracted
- First power unit synchronized with national Grid on 18th March 2019 and supplying 2X330 MW since then
- More than 13.50 GWH of electricity produced
- COD Stage Tariff and Financial Close Stage Tariff approved by TCEB for 3.8 Mtpa and 7.6 Mtpa mines respectively
- COD for Phase-II achieved by SECMC on 30th September, 2022
- Mine expansion plan up to 12.2 Mtpa is under process by SECMC
